Pumpkinville Fall Fest
Leesburg Animal Park
Celebrate Fall at Pumpkinville! Family-friendly activities include giant hill slides, kid’s maze, rope swings, pedal carts, moon bounces, petting zoo and more. Enjoy free apples & fresh cider and free pie pumpkin to take home. Take unlimited hayrides and visit the Leesburg Animal Park to pet and feed friendly, exotic and domestic animals. Additional weekend activities include camel rides, face painting, mini tractor rides, and more. Food service including corn dogs, hamburgers and more available Saturday and Sunday. Free weekend entertainment includes nationally renowned comedians, magicians, and puppeteers. In case of inclement weather (including rain and high winds), please call before visiting to make sure the park is open.

Leesburg’s First Friday
Held the first Friday of every month, except January, Leesburg’s First Friday lets you fully experience all that Historic Downtown Leesburg has to offer. Over 35 specialty shops, art galleries, antique shops and restaurants are open until 9pm or later, many offering free refreshments and/or special sales. Enjoy live music throughout the evening, art exhibits, wine tastings, and more!

72nd Annual Waterford Homes Tour & Crafts Exhibit
Waterford Foundation
Join us for Virginia’s oldest juried crafts fair, held throughout the National Historic Landmark Village of Waterford, which was founded by Quakers in 1733. The fair offers historic homes tours, 160 juried heritage craftspeople with hands-on demonstrations, activities for children, traditional music and dance, Colonial-era militia encampments, marching fife and drum corps, and Civil War re-enactors with skirmishes all weekend.

Purcellville Treasure Sale
The “Tag Sale” name was changed to “Treasure Sale” to add mystique, and because many vendors sell new products at amazing prices! This event will be held over two days this year. Yard sale registration is $7.00 for a home location for those who register to have their property address pinpointed for easy identification on the Town map which will be provided in the Purcellville Gazette.

Shocktober – The Haunted Well of Souls
Over one hundred years ago Jedidiah Carver was found guilty of unorthodox acts of animal husbandry. For these crimes, his lands were seized and he and his family were cast out of the Town of Leesburg.
Homeless, he moved his family to the caverns that lie beneath Paxton Manor. Here they dwelled for many years. Things went well for The Carver family and they thrived and multiplied. Though as time went on things began to go wrong…

The 77th Annual Ladies Board Rummage Sale
The largest Rummage Sale in the mid-Atlantic is a two-day event with 48,000 square feet of shopping you don’t want to miss! Stock up on gently used items such as furniture, clothing for the entire family, household items, small appliances and décor, a jam-packed holiday shop, tools, sports and exercise equipment, antiques and collectibles, gift items, jewelry, books, linens and draperies, toys and electronics.

Family Stream Day
Claude Moore Park, Lanesville Heritage Area, Guilford Signal Station
During this free event, students and families will enjoy interactive, hands-on activities that teach about our local watersheds, the plants and animals that live in these rich habitats, ways to test stream water quality, how we benefit from and impact our streams, and more. Kids will receive a reusable tote bag and a Family Stream Day “Passport” to have stamped at each station as they participate in the activities. The stations, led by several local organizations, will be located near the pond and Pavilion area. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes and to bring water and snacks since there will not be on-site access to food or beverages.

It’s about time this happened! Join us October 24th for the first ever LoCo Brewfest to be held at Lost Rhino Brewing Company and presented in conjunction with Visit Loudoun. This will be the first festival to feature breweries from Loudoun County exclusively.
